- Supports company marketing initiatives and research projects across Miles, collaborating with the New Business Development, Research and Marketing/Communications teams.
- Executes various integrated communication and marketing activities intended to promote and grow Tourism Exchange USA
- Shapes and executes multi-channel marketing plan that generates awareness and engagement with multiple audiences across the travel industry
- Writes engaging email content that drives results with target audiences
- Writes and maintains content on company website and social media channels
- Creates and manages educational and marketing-related presentations for the organization
- Develops and distributes company updates, press releases, newsletters and articles for internal and external communications.
- Maintains consistent internal communication with the team and supervisor related to status of projects
- Supervises the production or implementation of marketing materials
- Commissions or conducts market research, data analysis and evaluation.
- Executes and analyzes results of email, advertising and marketing campaigns
- Is responsible for the planning, fulfillment and success of industry tradeshows
- If applicable, manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their job
- Keeps promotional and industry resource materials ready by coordinating requirements with product, editorial and design teams.
- Is responsible for monitoring the marketing budget by comparing spending actuals against forecasts.
- 3-5 years working experience in the marketing and communications field
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience (preferred)
- AS or BS in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline
- Able to multitask, perform efficiently and well under tight deadlines
- Ability to exercise critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Proven experience in effective copywriting for printed materials and other marketing-related initiatives
- Experience with the use of CRM and email automation solutions
- Possess a core understanding of digital marketing and social media marketing in order to articulate performance and contribute to the strategic direction of our organization's initiatives within marketing
- Possess strong negotiation skills working with internal and external groups
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Able to learn new systems
- Able to manage own workflow while coordinating with project teams and management on schedules, requirements, goals, and assignments as needed

JOB SUMMARY:
Tourism Exchange USA is a B2B digital tourism marketplace that facilitates the real-time exchange of live inventory between suppliers and distributors with secure transactions across multiple categories of tourism products. The Marketing & Communications Specialist will be responsible for overseeing internal and external communications, content development and promotion for Tourism Exchange USA, as well as the fulfillment of our tradeshows and industry presence.
