      The Opportunity

      The Content Manager ensures the timely delivery and compliance of product marketing materials for institutional and retail markets across North America, EMEA, and Asia. This includes Mutual Funds, SMAs, and other investment vehicles. The role involves managing marketing requests for prospect pitches, client meetings, conferences, and internal presentations. Responsibilities include handling daily material requests, editing, client reporting, and producing presentations to support sales processes. The Content Manager will continuously improve processes for efficiency and accuracy using technology and automation. The goal is to maintain high quality and consistency in materials for Manulife / John Hancock Investment Management's global distribution, investment, and product teams.

      Responsibilities

      • Coordinate Marketing Collateral: Manage and deliver marketing materials for assigned investment teams, ensuring alignment with the multi-vehicle approach of the Content Management team.

      • Timely Delivery: Ensure complete and timely delivery of external marketing communications, including pitchbooks, fact sheets, quarterly reviews, commentaries, and trade updates

      • Compliance and Branding: Ensure all materials comply with governance, corporate branding, and messaging guidelines by collaborating with global investment, product, compliance, and distribution teams.

      • Collaborate with Global Teams: Work with product management, investment management, compliance, performance and data, and distribution teams to ensure best practices are followed during the development and approval process.

      • Manage Presentation Needs: Handle various presentation needs, including prospect pitches, client meetings, conferences, and internal presentations, while adhering to compliance and regulatory requirements.

      Required Qualifications:

      • 2-5 years of financial industry experience with a good understanding of asset management products, vehicles and methodologies as they relate to marketing communications

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Technical knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (particularly PowerPoint presentation design including animations, image optimization, video, hyperlinks, and interactive elements). In addition to excel charting experience.

      • Problem-solving capabilities and ability to segment themselves in the task at hand

      • Ability to work under tight deadlines while managing a large volume of work in a fast-paced environment

      • Understands and applies procedures, compliance regulations, and policies related to areas of specialized expertise

      • Demonstrates skill, and strong interpersonal skills for the role across the project; has experience in collaborating and partnering with people at all levels of the company; including stakeholders, functional business managers, and senior leadership

      • Strong analytical management skills, copes with complex situations using both skills and experience to lead to the right outcome

      • Familiarity with the Seismic content management system is preferred

      • Applies technology-based tools and processes, digital skills a plus

      • Experience with developing templates, guidelines, policies, procedures and training materials

      • Strong written and oral communication skills

      Bilingual (French & English) is required - The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.

      Salary range is expected to be between

      $60,000.00 CAD - $100,000.00 CAD
