We're looking for a Marketing Content Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As the world leader in serving science, we need someone who can generate compelling scientific image-based content using our innovative software solutions, specifically Thermo Scientific Amira-Avizo Software.

In this role, you'll be part of our operational marketing team, working on customer journeys to engage future customers. Your focus will be on building, collecting, transforming, and exposing marketing content to the right people, at the right time, and through the right channels.

Your main responsibility will be creating captivating marketing content, such as images, videos, posters, presentations, articles, infographics, application notes, collaterals, live and recorded product demos, customer case studies, testimonials, and tutorials. You'll be using your expertise to understand technical end-user needs and translate them into relevant marketing materials that showcase how our software solutions address those needs.

      Here's what you'll be doing:

      • Prioritizing the creation or update of marketing content based on global marketing planning.
      • Identifying existing content and assessing its quality and usability.
      • Collaborating with Marketing Operations, Strategic Marketing, Account Managers, Product Experts, and subject specialists from other Business Units to identify sources for new content.
      • Coordinating the collection, classification, and curation of raw data, ensuring authorization rights.
      • Building various types of content from raw image data using our software products, including full pre-processing, analysis, visualization, and reporting projects/workflows, image and video snapshots, animations, and reports.
      • Translating use cases into compelling stories with situational context, problems, methods, results, and conclusions.
      • Repurposing and reusing content across different materials and formats.
      • Maintaining, collecting, and sharing the library of content, ensuring its optimal usage throughout customer journeys.

You'll report to the Marketing Operations Director and work closely with Marketing Program Managers, Product Marketing Managers, Product Application Experts, Product Application Specialists, and Product Owners in a highly matrixed environment. There may also be opportunities for you to build product technical resources like recipes and how-to content.

Here are the qualifications we're looking for:

      • Master Degree in life or materials science. PhD preferred.
      • 5+ years of expertise in using Amira-Avizo Software.
      • Excellent knowledge of digital imaging techniques and workflows in Materials and/or Biomedical research.
      • Good understanding of the academic and industrial research environment in materials and life sciences.
      • Confirmed experience interacting with scientific researchers.
      • Proficiency in image processing and interpretation software solutions.
      • Background and curiosity about scientific research applications.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English.
      • Strong leadership abilities and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
      • Location: Anywhere in Europe, preferably in the Bordeaux, France area.

If this sounds like a great fit for you, we'd love to hear from you!

      Benefits:

      • We offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus scheme, healthcare, company pension, and a range of employee benefits!
      • Thermo Fisher Scientific offers employment with an innovative, forward-thinking organization, and outstanding career and development prospects. We offer an exciting company culture that stands for integrity, intensity, involvement, and innovation.
