      We are looking for a thoughtful and creative storyteller to help us inform, persuade, and engage our internal and external audiences. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated content creation skills that will be leveraged in elevating and amplifying the Franklin Madison and FM Engage brands. Important to success in this role will be expertise in writing powerful, engaging long- and short-form content including white papers, case studies, eBooks, blog articles, landing pages, email campaigns, press releases, and sales collateral. The individual in this position must be able to research and collaborate with external as well as internal partners.

      Responsibilities:
      • Collaborate with internal teams to deeply understand the business and value proposition we bring to the market
      • Write original copy built from content briefs, that adheres to best practices and quality standards for various marketing needs
      • Work closely with the Marketing Director to create a content strategy that aligns with company goals and is true to the Franklin Madison brand voice
      • Work with internal experts in the content creation process, including researching and gathering information, copywriting, coordinating design, collecting feedback, and making edits
      • Proactively identify, develop and manage content-led partnerships
      • Continually analyze, evaluate, and measure the performance of content, and implement recommendations for improvement and optimization
      • Build robust library of content pieces across Franklin Madison and FM Engage and promote its usage internally
      • Identify SEO opportunities
      • Determine optimal methods for content distribution to a variety of audiences
      • Contribute to the lead generation strategy and execution
      • Assist with social media posts occasionally
      • Other duties as assigned


      Requirements

      Requirements:
      • BA/BS in English, Journalism, Communications, or similar field
      • 3+ years of experience in B2B content writing
      • Demonstrable writing skills for a variety of content, including blog posts, social media posts, web pages, white papers, infographics, email content, video scripts, press releases, etc.
      • Excellence in proofreading content for spelling, grammar, and punctuation as well as consistency of brand-aligned language and style
      • Ability to modify content on Wordpress website pages
      • Proven ability to communicate effectively with various audiences and stakeholders
      • Understanding of content performance metrics and how to evaluate content quality
      • Strong project management skills and proven track record for meeting deadlines
      • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines
      • Creativity, confidence and the ability to collaborate across organizational levels

      Bonus attributes:
      • Prior insurance or financial services industry experience
      • Ability to create designs using Canva or other design software
