Marketing Coordinator - FULL-TIME - Graceland

This is a full-time position located in the Marketing Department with working hours to include some weekends, holidays, and evenings as required with benefits after a successful completion of a sixty (60) day introductory period. This is a promotional opportunity and is an internal/external recruitment.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of the Senior Director of Marketing, provide assistance and support to the Graceland marketing department. Responsibilities to include:

• Coordinate placement, tracking and fulfillment of marketing contracts, insertion orders, print requests and signage needs throughout the Graceland campus.
• Coordinate artwork needs with various agencies and freelance artists as needed.
• Submit and maintain various online listings for attraction, hotel, events, and concerts.
• Manage inbound company email boxes monitored by marketing team.
• Assist marketing team in planning, execution, and working Graceland events and concerts.
• Assist in coordination of official Fan Club program.
• Assist in the management of the Graceland Insiders Facebook community including content calendar and responding to comments/posts; handle execution of members-only contests and email communication about upcoming offers, presales, etc.; membership management.
• Assist marketing team with the creation of surveys for events and pull results to communicate back to the team.
• Assist with visiting media crews and on-site filming/photographers as needed.
• Conduct research as needed for various projects by marketing team.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES : Ability to manage and take direction in a variety of event-related projects simultaneously; exceptional organization, communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work well in cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and heavy workload in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; must demonstrate strong skills in writing, editing, and proofreading and be able to verbally express thoughts and ideas with confidence. Prior experience in marketing, tourism, and the hospitality business, as well as having knowledge and an appreciation of Elvis Presley is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS : An Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree is preferred, experience in marketing is desired.
