      Transnetyx is seeking a full-time Marketing Events Manager to join our amazing team in Memphis, Tennessee. As the Marketing Events Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with the Director of Global Marketing and internal stakeholders to develop and execute cutting-edge go-to-market strategies for Transnetyx events. Your role will be pivotal in spearheading our event initiatives, encompassing everything from participation in industry-leading trade shows to orchestrating captivating Transnetyx hosted events.

      Our ideal new team member has five years of experience running full-cycle events Globally. You've planned and managed events in both North America and Europe. You also have experience with a CRM, Salesforce is preferred.

      The Role

      WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

      • Lead Event and Tradeshow Strategy: Take the helm in developing and executing Transnetyx's hosted event and tradeshow strategy. This includes identifying key events, coordinating pre- and post-show communication, and ensuring our presence leaves a lasting impact.

      • Collaborate Across Departments: Work hand-in-hand with the Director of Marketing and Director of Sales to plan and staff customer and sponsored events. Your ability to align marketing initiatives with sales objectives will be critical to our success.

      • Contract Negotiation and Execution: Utilize your negotiation skills to secure contracts for both large- and small-scale events. Your attention to detail and strategic approach will ensure seamless execution and maximum return on investment.

      • ROI Analysis: Leverage Salesforce to analyze, track, and report on event ROI. By measuring the impact of our efforts, you'll provide valuable insights that drive future event strategies and optimizations.

      • Brand Representation: Partner closely with in-house designers to ensure that event displays accurately reflect the Transnetyx brand. Your eye for detail and commitment to brand consistency will elevate our presence in the industry.

      • Inventory Management: Take ownership of ordering and tracking event inventory, including collateral, giveaways, and other materials. Your organizational skills will ensure that we're well-equipped to make a lasting impression at every event.

      • Additional Responsibilities: Embrace flexibility and adaptability by performing other duties as assigned. Your willingness to take on new challenges will contribute to our overall success.

      WHAT YOU WILL BRING

      Education:

      • Bachelor’s degree required, preferred Marketing or Communications concentration.

      Experience:

      • Five or more years of marketing event experience in relevant field with strong service and administrative training required.

      Required Skills:

      • Must be comfortable with computers and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
      • Must be proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM software for tracking and analyzing event performance metrics.

      • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and third parties to ensure quality customer service.
      • Must possess outstanding communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and customer service skills and effective communication in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural customer setting.
      • Must have the ability to proactively address issues in a quick, creative, and innovative manner.
      • Must be outgoing, flexible, adaptable, and energetic.
      • Must be analytical, attentive to detail, and have the ability to prioritize and multi-task using strong time management and organizational skills.
      • Must demonstrate a strong work ethic including great personal drive, motivation, discipline, and initiative; including the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
      • Must demonstrate ability to manage and coordinate events from strategy to execution.
      • Must exhibit strong negotiation skills and experience in executing contracts for various event scales.
      • Must possess proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for tracking and analyzing event performance metrics.
      • Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
      • Must show strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
      • Must have ability to travel as needed to attend various events.

      Physical Demands:

      This position may involve sitting for prolonged periods of time, hearing, speaking, reaching, typing, lifting (up to 20lbs).
