      Responsibilities

      Shawmut Design and Construction is looking for a service-minded professional to serve as a Marketing Intern. This role requires working directly with marketing leadership, team of specialists, business development and operations staff to develop proposals and presentations to win new business.

      • Create and maintain marketing content database including project descriptions and qualifications materials for use in a wide range of marketing and business development deliverables.
      • Prepare client specific portfolio books and information packages
      • Gather information from various project teams to update internal resume database with recently completed projects
      • Develop marketing collateral to showcase our award-winning projects
      • Assist in developing marketing/sales strategy and ensuring business proposals are responsive to client needs
      • Help identify opportunities for press releases and other marketing opportunities
      • Perform marketing and administrative tasks associated with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
      • Administrative, support, and production duties as necessary
      • Uphold Shawmut values and best practices

      Qualifications

      • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or other related field.
      • Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and CRM Dynamics experience strongly preferred.
      • Strong writing and editing skills.
      • Ability to interact with all levels of management and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.
      • Ability to work successfully in a deadline-driven creative environment.
      • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
      • High attention to detail.
