Build, lead, and implement marketing activities to promote the therapy with key lung cancer collaborators to build a highly respected and differentiated brand
Work effectively and dynamically with marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure executional excellence, capture new insights, and find solutions to difficult problems.
Be comfortable working through ambiguity with an openness to exploring new insights through experimentation and iteration, while also completing critical tasks based on priority
Ensure the perspectives of others are fully heard and understood when collaborating with internal teams and external customers during development and implementation of marketing activities
Develop and deliver marketing presentations to the sales team and other brand team members
Lead the promotional materials development and management our agency partners
Positively influence brand performance and profitability while managing promotional expenses
Contribute to fostering an inclusive and highly collaborative team environment, and fully embrace a ‘speak-up culture’ where diversity of thought is critical for shared success
University degree or equivalent in science and/or business
You have a minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry, and you have demonstrated your impact in multiple roles such as sales, marketing, professional education, sales training, analytics and insights
Previous oncology experience is an asset
KOL relationship management is ideal
You effectively manage multiple projects to meet timelines
You think critically and focus your work on the highest priorities aligned to the overall strategic direction with a patient centric approach
This role will be based from our Mississauga head office where we have adopted a hybrid model of working in office an average of three days per week.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager Lung IO, you will be a vital contributor to our inspiring, bold mission. The AstraZeneca Oncology team is growing, and we are seeking a strong candidate for the position of Marketing Manager, Oncology. The successful candidate will play an integral role in leading the brand strategy and all customer marketing activities - driving deep understanding of what motivates Oncology patients and the HCPs that care for them including what drives treatment decisions, acting on this by building and implementing an integrated brand plan, with considerations to the current market access conditions and challenges.
