Our busy Customer and Marketing team is looking for people to support their mission - to reach the hearts, minds, and spirits of our customers to help them meet their goals.

Join us and you’ll have an opportunity to make an impact. To empower projects that deliver real-world benefits across Britain. To hear our customers say they couldn’t have done it without us. And to be central to OS’s vision: to be recognised as world leaders in geospatial services; creating location insight for positive impact.

      About the Role

We are making positive, transformational changes at OS – as we embark on an ambitious growth strategy, we remain at the heart of providing trusted and innovative location data and services across GB and internationally.

We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to join us in the Customer & Marketing department sitting within the vibrant Brand and Design team where we are committed to innovating, differentiating, and developing a consistent brand identity that positions OS’s brand purpose and increases awareness both locally and in international markets. This role is pivotal in championing the OS brand and collaborating with OS’s Business Units and Expert functions on their B2B and B2C marketing communications plans. You will lead in the coordination of creative delivery, shaping compelling brand vision and maximising audience reach (internally and externally) through viable channels. If you are someone who embraces creative thinking and flair, can balance cross functional collaboration with a well organised process driven approach and has a passion for delighting customers to ensure brand success then we would love to hear from you.

      The Marketing Manager will:

      • Actively support in the development and growth of OS, through championing the brand purpose and positioning whilst adapting to changing market dynamics across the business.
      • As brand guardian, you will work with the Design Lead to deliver branded templates, campaign assets, guidelines and manage the brand portal content for internal and external users.
      • Experience in creative design production management is key, with the ability to translate brand guidelines into a wide variety of content deliverables and coordinate creative projects across the design studio and agencies.
      • Adopt a proactive approach in making things happen, inspiring and gaining collaboration with cross functional teams to deliver marketing campaign plans, orchestrating execution from all stakeholders (incl. BU, brand, design, content, social and web teams).
      • Support the Senior Marketing Projects Manager in working with agency partners to develop brand position and flagship campaigns to build awareness and demand for the business in the local and international markets.
      • Manage and maintain the Customer & Marketing brand team briefing process, ensuring it is efficient, effective, and inclusive.
      • Report on the brand team briefing process and make recommendations for future efficiencies.
      • Responsible for allocating design briefs to our talented design team, ensuring a customer need is fulfilled and focus is aligned to the brand benefit.
      • Foster strong relationships across the business and be an approachable and positive brand champion, offering expertise and adding value where possible.
      • Encourage brand adoption internally through inspiring internal engagement communications, using SharePoint, Yammer and other methods.
      • Support with the delivery of online and face-to-face events when necessary and ensure brand integrity is upheld.

      What we’re looking for:

      • A dynamic, self-starter, who is confident in dealing with internal and external stakeholders and in making daily decisions pertaining to their role.
      • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and can clearly communicate, building and managing critical stakeholder relationships with cross functional teams across the business.
      • An enthusiastic team player, who thrives working in a diverse, fast paced team.
      • Experience of working with and managing marketing agencies and freelancers.
      • Good understanding of marketing and performance metrics, with solid commercial acumen.

      The Rewards

We want you to love what you do. That’s why our benefits package rewards a job well done. We’ll give you:

      • Salary – £34,476 to £44,616 (depending on experience)
      • Performance related bonus
      • Competitive pension
      • 37 hour working week (with flexible working options)
      • 25 days annual leave - (30 days after five years) bank holidays and an extra 3 over Christmas
      • Plus, a suite of excellent additional benefits
