Are you a Project Management professional who enjoys partnering with the Marketing team? Do you have experience developing and managing a detailed project schedule and work plan from end-to-end? Kum & Go/Maverik is hiring a Marketing Project Manager who will manage detailed marketing project campaigns from creation through deployment. This role will identify schedules, scope, objectives, and project implementation plans. The Marketing Project Manager will play a key role in identifying and resolving project issues, risks, and conflicts.

What you’ll do

• Collect, analyze, and document business process steps and requirements
• Create project plans, timelines, and milestones while managing projects of varying length, complexity, and scope
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner to monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Create process and technical maps, as well as performance and status reports
• Effectively communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to internal and external stakeholders
• Acquire and manage project resources including team members, contractors, and external vendors
• Identify and coordinate internal resources and/or third party resources
• Create transition plans, identify lessons learned, and apply the lessons learned to future projects

What we’re looking for

• Proficient in project management tools, creating project plans, reports, and dashboards
• Knowledge of project management principles, methodologies (Agile), and tools
• Driven and able to effectively prioritize competing needs
• Excellent communication skills

Other key requirements

• 3+ years of experience in project management
• Project Management Certification or Project Management Professional is preferred
• Background in Marketing, Advertising, or Account Management is a plus
• Relocation to Des Moines, IA or Salt Lake City, UT area required
