      How you’ll make an impact


      Partner Marketing Operations enables Partner Marketing at Xero to perform at its best through the enablement of best-in-class data, technology and process.


      As a Marketing Technology Manager, you will act as the visionary and builder for the Marketing Technology stack that powers our global partner experience. Reporting to the Head of Partner Marketing Operations and working across key Marketing stakeholders, you’ll act as the bridge between business requirements and the technical solutioning, building custom solutions to unlock new capabilities in our new partner acquisition, conversion and penetration motions. You’ll work closely with the team responsible for the configuration, delivery and integration of SaaS tools in the tech stack with the goal of driving rich data, ROI measurement and Marketing and Sales alignment. The ideal candidate will have rich engineering experience with a strong understanding of marketing technology, data flows, integration with SaaS applications, and the ability to document concepts and workflows, while also being gifted at enabling work inside of the SaaS applications themselves.


      What you'll do

      Reporting to the Head of Partner Marketing Operations, you’ll:


      Implement the Xero Marketing tech stack to support the acquisition and engagement of Xero’s accountant and bookkeeper channel across all geographies and channels

      Work with internal product owners to strategise and implement the end-to-end CRM operations flow, including data ingestion, enrichment, cleansing and information architecture

      Collaborate with other Marketing Technology teams working on automation, reporting, feed and creative instrumentation, providing extra bandwidth and requesting resources as needed

      Work with Engineering and Data & Analytics to deliver easily ingestible data from our third party ad platforms

      Assist with the expansion of our Segment CDP including the use of Persona's to deliver audiences, journeys, and personalisation

      Develop the building blocks of our global data feed infrastructure that powers personalisation and targeting across all channels

      Work inside our 3P data targeting infrastructure to power granular targeting across channels in partnership with Sales and Customer Engagement

      Partner with Data Analytics to instrument data-sharing pipelines (CAPI, GCLID upload, etc) and continuously improve the quality of the data we share with third-party platforms to improve bidding

      Build APIs that reach from our affiliate platform into our data pipelines, powering fraud detection, attribution and more

      Partner with Customer Engagement to build company-wide understanding of the technical capacities we can use to develop user journeys that drive conversions/upsell

      Partner with Sales on building lead-routing systems and appropriately orchestrate lead flows across self-serve and sales-assisted motion

      Act as the technology expert for Partner Marketing, consulting on technical requirements to business challenges, troubleshooting where required

      Ensure data and technology processes are embedded, measured and continuously optimised

      Proactively identifying, recommending and implementing new-to market tools that support campaign creation, creative optimisation, measurement, ABM and more in partnership with a variety of teams


      What you'll bring with you


      Critical competencies

      Strong technical acumen, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.

      Knowledge of AI/LLMs and their application within Marketing.

      Balance of technical know-how with strong business communication to add act as the business’ bridge to the technology organisation


      Experience

      Expertise in a wide range of industry-leading Marketing Technology platforms such as Braze, Marketo, Salesforce, Meta and LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads (Tag Manager, Analytics), Smartify, SearchAds360, Segment, and/or Hightouch.

      Hands-on coding experience, having contributed to a major company-wide repository.Digital consultancy and implementation experience a plus.
