What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Speak with consumers over the phone, connecting with individuals in emotional distress or experiencing mental health issues
- Build rapport and engage clients effectively
- Assess risk and maintain accurate documentation during calls
- Provide available resources and information to clients
- Identify safe coping mechanisms and develop safety plans
- Perform emergency interventions when necessary
- Remain calm and professional while multitasking in a fast-paced environment

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in a behavioral health field (MSW, PsyD, PhD, M.A., or M.S.)
- Clinical practice emphasis from an accredited program (COAMFTE, CACREP, or CORE)
- Licensed as a limited or fully licensed social worker or counselor according to state licensing board requirements
- Reside in Michigan and hold one of the following licenses: LLMSW, LLC (aka LLPC), LLP, LLMFT, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LLP, or LP

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis intervention or counseling in a healthcare-related service
