What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create or audit comprehensive estimates of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims
- Train, mentor, and provide technical assistance to Auto Field Claims Teams
- Negotiate settlements and document all activities in complex claims files
- Evaluate settlement alternatives and ensure compliance with fair claims practices
- Build strong relationships with internal and external customers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in material damage estimating or claims
- Ability to obtain and maintain adjuster licenses as required
- Strong knowledge of estimating software (Mitchell/CCC/Audatex, etc.)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Experience with a variety of insurance products, including personal and commercial automobile
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the insurance industry
