      Join our Team: Material Handler

      Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Material Handler to contribute to the Terex Dungannon Site Materials team.

      Position: Material Handler

      Location: Dungannon Site

      Reporting to: Materials Supervisor

      Hours of Work: 39

      What you will do

      You will play a pivotal role within the Materials team, handling material in a safe and efficient manner. You will be responsible for creating a seamless flow of material between Production and Stores.

      Main Duties & Responsibilities

      • Efficient and timely handling of all materials
      • Support Production through timely and accurate delivery of Parts
      • Use of PIT in a safe and efficient manner including Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Pallet Stacker, Tugger Truck etc.
      • Processing of Parts received to both Production and Stores
      • Prompt and accurate control of paperwork
      • Loading and Unloading of Materials deliveries
      • Compliance with inventory control measures
      • Compliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures
      • Following Standard Work procedures
      • General Housekeeping Duties

      What you will bring

      • Previous experience of working in a fast moving manufacturing environment in a similar role
      • Valid PIT licence, preferably Counterbalance
      • IT literate – previous experience of MRP style system would be advantageous
      • Educated to GCSE standard
      • Understanding of Inventory Control
      • Self-motivation and initiative
      • Ability to work well in a team
      • Ability to problem solve
      • Strive towards continuous improvement
      • Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities
