Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for working on orders, ensuring the accuracy of invoices and counts, and verifying that each item is properly packed and sealed before shipment. You will collaborate closely with leadership and team members on daily orders and perform checks for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Work on orders, verifying invoice and count accuracy.
• Ensure each item is packed and sealed before shipment.
• Collaborate with leadership and team members on daily orders.
• Perform accuracy checks on orders.
• Use RF scan gun to track and manage inventory.
• Pick, pack, ship, and receive items.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Conduct inventory counts.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in computer support.
• Experience with RF scan guns.
• Skills in picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Experience in warehouse distribution.
• Ability to load and unload trucks.
• Strong inventory management skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak season, including weekends.
• Adherence to blackout periods during peak season without exceptions.

Work Environment

The work environment is a warehouse setting, which includes both climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled areas. You will work in a large department and may be required to move between different areas as needed. The standard work hours are from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday to Friday. During peak season, you may work from 1100am-800pm (Saturdays) with potential additional hours on Sunday if the volume is high. Standing for the entire shift is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
