Job Description

- You will expedite the movement of parts, material, components, assemblies, and supplies to appropriate maintenance and repair sections.
- You will receive, open, document, sort and prepare for distribution to the required maintenance sections.
- You will prepare material requisitions for parts and materials required to maintain established warehouse stock levels utilizing an electronic supply management program.
- You will unload material, parts, and supplies from trucks, utility vehicles, pallets, pallet boxes, and baskets.
- You will initiate requisitions to support shop maintenance requirements by determining and balancing factors such as allowable general account stock levels, usage rate data, projected workload, and ordering priorities.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a commercial forklift license within 6 months of being appointed.
- Misuse of government IT systems is cause for disciplinary action, to include removal.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
