      This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer.       Duties


      • You will expedite the movement of parts, material, components, assemblies, and supplies to appropriate maintenance and repair sections.
      • You will receive, open, document, sort and prepare for distribution to the required maintenance sections.
      • You will prepare material requisitions for parts and materials required to maintain established warehouse stock levels utilizing an electronic supply management program.
      • You will unload material, parts, and supplies from trucks, utility vehicles, pallets, pallet boxes, and baskets.
      • You will initiate requisitions to support shop maintenance requirements by determining and balancing factors such as allowable general account stock levels, usage rate data, projected workload, and ordering priorities.

      Requirements


      • Must be a US Citizen.
      • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
      • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

      • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

      • You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
      • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
      • You will be required to obtain and maintain a commercial forklift license within 6 months of being appointed.
      • Misuse of government IT systems is cause for disciplinary action, to include removal.
      • This is a bargaining unit position.

      This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision to include: Expedite the movement of parts, materiel, components, assemblies, and supplies to appropriate maintenance and repair sections within Exercise Support Division (ESD).
