- Proactively highlight supplier delivery issues that could impact business goals and work collaboratively across the business to resolve/mitigate these risks.
- Manage & resolve these escalations and provide timely, clear updates on issues.
- In conjunction with Fulfillers, monitor supplier performance to plan and work with suppliers to manage any required recovery plans/actions.
- Ensure standardized approach to 13 week MHV within Avionics Fulfilment team.
- Able to escalate issues to Material Health Lead (MHL) concisely with current status & required actions in mind.
- Ownership of daily BUCC meetings & providing latest operational updates
- Liaise with business unit Material Leads for 13 week MHV (Material Health View), being able to decipher shortages & those with the highest impact to the business.
- Drive CTB to achieve site G&O’s through the Sourcing Material Coverage Analysis tool (MCA)
- Ensure proposed change notes on part number roles which could have adverse effects on the supply chain are reviewed and approved before system changes are flowed down to the supplier so that any actions/ communication can be worked proactively
- Liaise with Material Health Leader (MHL) to agree suppliers to be escalated to Supplier Recovery Lead
- Liase with MHL to support potential supplier transitions, supplier exits or entry into new suppliers for Delivery, Quality & Cost benefits.
- If MHL is Out of Office, the FL will lead Team Meetings, Avionics presentations & be the Sourcing escalation point for the business unit.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Ability to demonstrate high performance within a Sourcing/Fulfilment environment.
- Additional experience within Quality and/or Operations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, leadership and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, influence others and lead small teams.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement best practices.
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Time Management skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment whilst receiving multiple and competing priorities
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP
- Ability to mentor, train and develop better processes & people

Job Description Summary
We are recruiting for a Materials Fulfilment Leader to join our Avionics fulfilment team in Cheltenham. In this role you will own the immediate 13 week material window to ensure manufacturing Clear to Build (CTB) is not impacted by supplier shortages . Working cross functionally with the Avionics Materials Lead and Operations Lead this role will focus on giving clear material commitments to meet planned business unit output. In addition, the Fulfilment Lead will be the first point of escalation for the Fulfilment team if there are supply issues & will support & own short-term recovery plans as well as long-term strategic projects, in conjunction with the Material Health Lead, to stabilise the Avionics supply chain by ensuring a more consistent delivery performance across the global 50+ suppliers in our portfolio.Job Description
