      Following is a summary of the major job processes of this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time:

      A. Effectively maintains safe work environment and routine operating efficiency of all vehicles and equipment.

      B. Transports supplies, equipment, courier mail and return goods to/from Logistics Center or Materials areas to/from all other corporate supply delivery points on an as needed basis.

      C. Assists in the receiving, and storing process of all supply goods inbound to or outbound from the Logistics Center.

      D. Take instructions from a desk top or handheld computer and required to operate forklifts, pallets jacks, order picker lifts and shrink wrapping machine.

      E. Picks stock orders from perpetual inventory locations for next day delivery

      F. Assists in inventory control activities to include cycle or balance verifications inventory on a continual basis.G. Maintains and demonstrates professional competency according to policy, procedure and protocol.H. Complies with and supports organization and department policies and procedures.

      Qualifications

      • Education : High school diploma/GED, Required.
      • Experience : One year's experience utilizing materials handling/distribution techniques and equipment in a warehouse environment, Preferred.
      • Additional Skills (required): Considerable manual dexterity to utilize small tools, count items, operate computer, etc. Good verbal and written communication skills (includes good grammar and spelling). Thorough ability to prioritize and organize. Ability to read and follow instructions (includes "menu driven instructions" in automated Materials Management system). Ability to comprehend and follow verbal instructions. Ability to work in a stressful environment resulting from a high volume of product demand by organizational customer base. Good analytical, problem solving, and diplomacy skills. Ability to use mature, sound judgment in handling a broad variety of referral calls and in the guidance of other staff members. Ability to interact with individuals throughout the organization in a professional and pleasant manner. Good numerical skills. Pleasant and easily understood telephone voice. Ability to function effectively within a team oriented work environment. Basic computer skills, Required.
      • Additional Skills/Requirements (preferred): Heavy to moderate lifting, pushing and pulling. Frequent periods of standing and/or walking. Moderate to heavy bending, twisting, stretching and reaching. Moderate volume of data input via computer keyboard. Night driving may required in some cases. Good hearing and visual acuity.
