Minimum of 2+ years' work experience, preferably in strategic consulting or corporate strategy.
Understanding of industry trends, KPIs and standard analyses, and the competitive landscape.
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) for the duration of 12 weeks over Summer 2024.
MBA (Enrollment Required)
Authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular full-time basis.
Business Acumen: The ability to understand and apply internal and external business drivers and metrics to achieve desired business results.
Analytical & Quantitative: Able to collect, interpret, visualize and analyze a wide variety of information (financial statements and models, market research, etc.) and derive data-driven strategic insights from analyses; fluent in MS Excel.
Structured Problem Solving: Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, intellectually curious and able to think creatively about potential solutions; able to structure and disaggregate problems in a logical, comprehensive manner.
Project Focused: Ability to scope projects, manage teams, deliver results against set expectations, timelines, and budgets, etc.
Written & Verbal Communication: Strategic thought leader with the ability to summarize and present analyses, findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively in written and oral forms.
Adaptive Mindset: Ability to shift into and out of a mental mindset associated with assessing the facts and circumstances of the current situation and/or environment and making the appropriate/innovative adjustments to thinking and work habits to thrive in any scenario.

Kimberly-Clark Professional’s Strategy teams have played a key role in solving the company’s largest and most pressing strategic issues for the past 10+ years. Strategy teams lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide and business unit strategy and develop strategic recommendations on issues at the highest level of the organization, while serving as a talent pipeline for the company.
Kimberly-Clark Professional is hiring strategy interns for the 2024 summer program as follows:
Note: 2025 full-time offers will be contingent on relocation to Atlanta, GA
Candidates applying for positions in KCP Strategy are applying to be part of the Strategy Leadership Program in the future, which offers the opportunity to rotate across different Strategy groups in Kimberly-Clark (i.e., Corporate, Consumer and B2B). Candidates will be dedicated to Kimberly-Clark Professional (hiring organization) for the duration of the 12-week summer program. However, after the 2024 summer program, candidates who receive and accept an offer will return full-time to Kimberly-Clark Professional (Summer 2025) with the opportunity to get exposure to Corporate and Consumer Strategy Teams as well, if desired.
Key Accountabilities
The Summer Strategy Interns will support the strategy teams by executing projects associated with Kimberly-Clark Professional's top strategic priorities and value creation agenda. They will be responsible for conducting analyses, drawing insights and presenting their findings to the senior leadership teams with recommendations for actions and next steps.
