Prepare the AP closure report per the requirements of the NO closure guideline and the partnership finish well guide and liaison with concerned units (NO SOD, NO MEAL and FO) to ensure the report meets quality standards and timeliness.
The AP closure reports prepared per the standard and submitted timely.
AP Monitoring and Reporting
Undertake regular monitoring of the AP CESP and Multi-Sector project and prepare regular reports AP Reports (MMR, SAR and PMR) per the NO and SO requirement’s.
Required reports are submitted in time and quality to the NO and the SO.
Program Accountability
Set up relevant and context-based information Sharing, feedback and Complaint handling Mechanisms and tools /CRM tools/.
Documenting Feedback and complaints in a register, analyzed, and making timely response to complaints.
Partners' capacity for Program Accountability is enhanced and efforts towards it are in place by the Woreda and KA partners.
Partnering and collaboration ensures strong collaboration and partnership among key stakeholders by identifying, actively engaged and meaningfully contributed to the program transition process.
Thus, the job holder will be primarily responsible to:
▪ Facilitate relationships and participation with stakeholders including the government, CBOs and FBOs and other key partners at local level.
Number and type of partners identified, capacitated and engaged for effective transition;
▪ Identifies the contribution partners could make towards the overall shared plan.
Facilitate other transition activities: -
▪ Ensure stakeholders and partners are well aware of the sponsorship shared benefits, requirements for smooth sponsorship transition during this last year of implementation;
▪ Explore partnering and integration opportunities for community-led care and protection, and children's participation and voice during the transition process.
▪ Ensures programme addresses the needs of the RC across the.
Relevant planned transition activities are implemented within budget and time.
M&E Systems and Knowledge Management
Manage the APs and its constituent projects information and profiles up-to-date with all MEAL requirement’s completed in and off the systems. Update the AP and projects profiles in Horizon and complete the AP MMR in ORT systems. Ensure the AP prior reports and closure reports are properly archived in Horizon.
AP closure and other regular reports are completed in systems (Horizon & ORT) timely.
Other tasks: engage in other relevant assignments from the supervisor, the NO and the SO.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
List education, knowledge & skills, licenses preferred, and all experiences required to perform this position in a fully competent manner.Minimum education, training and experience requirements to qualify for the position:
List academic requirements (if applicable), technical skills, or other knowledge required as a minimum qualification for this position.
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
• BA/B.Sc. Degree in Development Studies, Economics, Agriculture, and related social science fields. An advanced degree in Social Sciences related to development work is preferred.
• Master’s degree is an advantage.Experience:
• More than 4 years’ experience, a minimum of three years’ experience in handling MEAL activities of development programs and projects. Experience on handling AP/Project sustainability and transition is a plus.
