Job Title: Design Engineer

Job Description

Partner with the structural engineers to design and model products for customers. Create blueprints and BOM (bill of material) for offsite manufacturing. Work with subcontractors and contractors on installation expectations. Collaborate with the team on project deadlines.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in CAD, AutoCAD, Design, Drafting, Inventor, Solidworks, Creo, and ProE.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 6 months of experience with 3D modeling software such as Solidworks, Inventor, or Creo.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and external partners.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Work Environment

The office is small, with around 15 employees, and is looking to add 2-3 more detailers/drafters. Drafters will work closely with engineers and other drafters. The work environment is family-oriented with a laid-back atmosphere, offering flexibility in work hours as long as tasks are completed. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.
