- Learning from and being mentored by subject matter experts in the Mechanical Engineering Team with opportunities to work with several other teams in Technical Services.
- Working with the Asset Engineering Teams, you will learn how to monitor and troubleshoot plant, field, and pipeline operations.
- Working with Project Teams you will learns about Keyera’s Project Delivery System and how a project progresses from an idea or problem to successfully operating equipment .
- Provide technical support to the Engineering Team.
- Prepare and maintain technical reference documentation and drawings.
- Learning to understand and use Keyera and Industry specifications and standards.
- You are passionate about working as part of a team to solve problems and implement innovative, cost effective, and high-quality solutions.
- You combine the theoretical with the hands on in this role. You are a courageous safety leader who works to ensure your work, your team’s work and the facilities are safe, but you also recognize that safety goes beyond the facility and into your home.
- You are open to immersing yourself in all areas of Engineering – Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Instrumentation and Electrical. You know that a multi-disciplined group is part of the success in this role.
- You have the ability to listen, learn and observe – getting to know the people, processes, and facilities is the best way to start a new role.
- You are comfortable with technical writing, presentation skills and knowledge transfer to various stakeholders.

Keyera is currently seeking an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) for our 2024 EIT Program. This exciting and dynamic role encompasses facility work, projects, and construction. The initial assignment will be in Calgary in the Mechanical Engineering Team of the Discipline Engineering Group in Technical Services. After initial assignment, there will be a relocation to another group within the Keyera system for continued growth and development.
