      In this role, you will:

      • Align with organization (Staff, Plant, and Asset/Platform) objectives and performance metrics. Work as a team member to achieve those objectives.
      • Work with a cross functional team to develop and implement process improvement solutions using both simple (4SPS) and complex (6-sigma) problem solving techniques.
      • Support staff and plant driven product and process improvement projects from conception through commercialization.
      • Develop knowledge and skills in application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management.
      • Develop knowledge and skills to apply Lean Manufacturing principles (visual management, standard work, etc.) to all aspect of the work
      • Work with staff and other Kimberly-Clark facilities world-wide to share ideas and increase technical efficiency using change management best practices (MOC).
      • Document changes made using CAD and the Kimberly-Clark drawing management system.
      • Develop knowledge and skills to lead capital project implementations.

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
      • Co-op/Intern experience at a Kimberly-Clark location is desired but not required.
      • Ability to work with others on a team.
      • Strong communication skills.
      • Strong desire to learn.
      • Problem solving skills.
      • Learn and adapt to new situations quickly.
      • Goal Oriented/strong work ethic.
      • Customer service attitude – recognizes who the customer is.
      • Proficiency in the Microsoft Windows Operating System and Microsoft Windows Office Suite.

      Salary Range: $78,650 - $92,970

Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.

      Kimberly-Clark will support in-country relocation for the chosen candidate for the role. The benefits provided will be per the terms of Kimberly-Clark’s applicable mobility policies. The benefits/policy provided will be decided at Kimberly-Clark’s sole discretion.
