Mission:

We design and manufacture collision avoidance systems and vehicle management systems for the mining industry. We have extensive experience in PCB design, firmware design and software design.

We have a strong team of designers and have established building blocks for our products that allow us to quickly respond to client requirements. We continuously develop new products, so all designers get ample opportunity to hone their design skills. We have simple sub-systems as well as very complex solutions, this ensures that there is a place for designers of all different experience levels.

Main Responsibilities or Functions of Job:

• Assembly
• Wiring
• Building of Prototypes
• Operation and setting of CNC routers
• Operation of UV printer
• Operation of laser cutter
• Operation of powder coating plant
• Operation of vacuum forming machine
• Routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery
• Assisting in new designs
• Stock Control
• Quality control and assurance
• Cleaning of parts
• Operation of bending machines
• Tapping of holes
• Sheet metal marking
• Operation of insert press
• Drilling
• Lathe machining
• Acid cleaning
• House keeping

Required Skills and Capabilities:

• Ability to read, and interpret technical procedures and effectively communicate in English
• Ability to apply concepts of basic math
• Ability to handle and manipulate small components
• Hand Tools Knowledge
• Good Housekeeping skills
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Knowledge on the usage of measuring equipment
• General Administrative skills

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with Mathematics and either science or a related technical subject
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required for this entry level position.

Competence:

• Timekeeping skills
• Willingness to work beyond normal office hours when required.
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks.
