      What you’ll achieve

      Overview of Job - In this position as Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer, as a vital member of our cross-functional engineering team, you will be instrumental in delivering advanced liquid cooling solutions for desktop, portable and server computer systems and peripherals.. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the mechanical design of liquid cooling components, ensuring the creation of innovative and highly reliable solutions.

      You will:

      • Lead the mechanical design of critical components for liquid cooling solutions

      • Establish design targets and requirements

      • Develop and evaluate strategies and new design concepts to solve future challenges

      • Evaluate design performance through stages of development utilizing analysis and testing

      • Drive collaboration across diverse teams

      Essential Requirements

      • 12+ years industry experience or equivalent skill; must include 8+ years in liquid cooling or fluid pressure system design for heat transfer

      • Expertise in pressure vessel design to include structural analysis, construction methodologies, design for manufacturability and material requirements

      • Experience predicting and validating pressure handling performance of a design

      • Creative with strong mechanical intuition and aptitude

      Desirable Requirements

      • Experience with liquid cooling and FEA modeling

      • BS Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering (or equivalent)

      Compensation

      Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $158,950 - $205,700
