What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Verify patient eligibility for Medicaid benefits and facilitate the approval process
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of verification processes and outcomes
- Serve as a point of contact for Medicaid inquiries from clients and caregivers
- Collaborate with partnering departments to resolve issues related to Medicaid coverage
- Assist with training staff on Medicaid verification procedures and policies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, insurance verification, or a related field
- Associate degree or higher in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required
- Proven track record of strong customer focus and adaptability in a high call volume environment
- Technical proficiency with the ability to navigate through multiple systems

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Medicaid verification and understanding of Medicaid regulations is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time effectively
- Passion for providing high levels of customer service, including empathy and active listening
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse audiences
- Proficiency in Excel and other relevant tools for data accuracy
