What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead analyses regarding School-Based Services and healthcare services in schools, particularly related to Medicaid billing
- Provide consultation and recommendations to agency staff and leadership at various levels
- Consult on strategy and resource allocation with statewide impacts
- Assist in designing and implementing changes to policies and procedures in compliance with CMS guidance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and analyze performance metrics for process improvement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, law, public health, health administration, or a related field, and four (4) years of relevant experience; or eight (8) years of relevant experience
- Experience in conducting research and analyzing policies, laws, or regulations, particularly related to Medicaid
- Proficiency with Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and other relevant technologies
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete tasks efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong understanding of time study principles and methodologies, particularly Random Moment Time Study (RMTS)
- Knowledge of accounting principles and cost allocation methodologies
- Experience in complex program design, planning, and management
- Skilled in conducting data analysis for program improvements
- Familiarity with the Washington State Health Care Authority's mission and goals
