      Job summary

      15 Hours per week. Monday & Tuesday 9:00am - 5:30pm

      An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Administrator to join our busy 2 partner practice.

      The Role will require that you provide general administration assistance to the practice team.

      Applicants must be self motivated, able to work under pressure, be eager to learn, and have excellent communication and IT skills. This busy and varied role requires the ability to work as part of a team .

      Experience of working in General Practice or other NHS setting is preferable, however full training will be given.

      This role requires a flexible approach to working to provide additional cover when required and the ability to adapt to change.

      Main duties of the job

      • Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors.
      • Assist and direct patients in accessing appropriate services.
      • Various administrative duties including scanning, read coding, data entry, tasks etc.
      • Process/issue prescription requests
      • Work to practice policies and protocols.

      About us

      Moreton Medical Centre is a busy but friendly 2 partner practice with a practice population of approximately 5300 patients.

      Our clinical team consists of 2 partners, 4 salaried GP's, 1 ACP and 3 nurses, . We are a training Practice and currently have 3 GP trainees.
