- Provide expert medical & scientific advice and support to cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines in the consumer healthcare sector.
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs to facilitate product registrations and approvals.
- Lead the initiation and development of evidence generation studies in the BU.
- Provide medical & scientific leadership in the pipeline development of new products.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals in the consumer healthcare space.
- Collaborate with KOLs to gather insights, support educational initiatives, and foster partnerships.
- Develop and communicate accurate and relevant medical information to internal teams, healthcare professionals, and consumers.
- Provide medical & scientific input into the creation of promotional and educational materials in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
- Ensure that medical & scientific strategies are integrated with business plans.
- Stay informed and provide timely updates to the business about competitors' products and market trends.
- Represent the company at medical conferences, seminars, and industry events.
- Consumer Health industry experience preferred.
- Demonstrated strong business acumen & passion for business partnering.
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
- Proactive, with ability to anticipate and plan, oversee multiple tasks simultaneously, make decisions and respond to tight timelines.
- Strong ability to manage and influence discussions with others.
- Strong ability and eagerness to challenge status quo; make quick decisions; and lead/operate successfully in an empowered organization.
- Effective communication, influencing and negotiations skills.
- Ability to facilitate alignment and collaboration across groups/regions.
- Degree in a relevant scientific field
- Prior experience in Medical Affairs within the consumer healthcare industry preferred
- Strong understanding of local regulatory requirements in consumer healthcare or relevant industry
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to translate complex medical information into comprehensible terms for various audiences.
- Strategic thinking and ability to contribute to business planning.
