      Job summary

      To provide a quality administrative service as part of the Postgraduate Team in the Education Centres, in accordance with the Regional and National Educational standards. This will include providing administrative support to the Medical & Dental Education Managers (Postgraduate),teaching Consultants, Faculty Leads and the Programme Directors.

      To provide efficient & high quality administrative support & data management support to the Medical, Surgical, Dental and GP education programmes with particular emphasis on coordination, collection, monitoring & analysis of assessment documentation required foraccreditation of doctors and dentists in training as required by the HEIW.

      Main duties of the job

      The Education Centre Team is a cohesive team of managers and administrators, who work closely together across Swansea Bay University Health Board to coordinate, develop and continually improve the educational experience and environment for our trainees, medical students and wider Health Board workforce.Swansea Bay University Health Board are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Administrator to join the Medical & Dental Education Centre Team (Postgraduate) based in Singleton Hospital. The successful applicant will be required to provide a high quality administrative service as part of the Postgraduate Team in Singleton Hospital in addition to the wider Health Board Team when required. This will include providing administrative support to the Medical & Dental Education Managers (Postgraduate), teaching Consultants, Faculty Leads and the Programme Directors.

      The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent IT, communication and organisational skills.

      You will need to have the ability to travel between sites in a timely manner.

      The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
