What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with clinic patient flow within the Health Services Unit Ambulatory settings
- Provide a broad range of health care services under supervision of healthcare professionals
- Take and record vital signs and medical histories of patients
- Prepare patients for examination and assist with examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens and prepare them for testing

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience performing clerical services in a medical setting, including appointment scheduling and maintaining medical records
- Experience providing patient care services, such as taking vital signs and assisting with examinations
- Ability to collect laboratory specimens and prepare them for testing
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to meet minimal physical requirements, including standing, walking, and kneeling

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience navigating electronic medical records
- Previous work experience in a correctional facility or similar environment
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
