What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer medications and immunizations to patients
- Obtain and record vital signs for patient assessments
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies to ensure readiness

- Organize the practice environment to assure patient safety and quality outcomes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Certification as a Medical Assistant required within 3 months of hire
- Five or more years of applicable Medical Assistant experience may substitute for formal training
- Valid CPR certification required upon hire, with recertification every two years
- Two years of experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program
- Experience in primary medical care settings
- Familiarity with HEDIS and designated quality measures
- Additional certifications in relevant medical fields
- Proficiency in patient care coordination and transitions
