What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer medications and immunizations to patients
- Obtain vital signs and maintain inventory of appropriate supplies
- Ensure safe and efficient patient flow and track high-risk referrals and lab tests
- Facilitate safe transitions of care and organize practice environment for patient safety
- Contribute to HEDIS and designated quality measures

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program is preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant certification required within 3 months of hire
- Minimum of five years of applicable MA experience in primary medical care may substitute for formal training
- Valid CPR certification required upon hire and recertification every two years

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Two years of experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred
