What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of an urgent care provider
- Manage patient registration, including securing necessary paperwork and verifying insurance
- Conduct preliminary physical tests and record vital signs, escalating critical cases to providers
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure medical supplies are stocked and maintained
- Answer patient inquiries and provide updates on their care status

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire
- One of the following certifications is required or must be obtained within 15 months of hire: CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, or NRCMA
- Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Front Desk experience preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program
- Experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to type quickly and possess basic computer knowledge
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
