      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist in the examination and treatment of patients by tracking patient information and documenting medical records
      - Perform initial response screening and obtain patient vital signs, accurately documenting information in the EMR
      - Administer prescribed medications and facilitate prescription renewals as directed by healthcare providers
      - Communicate with patients regarding test results and provider instructions
      - Participate in disease management programs under the supervision of Care Managers and Nurse Managers

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED
      - Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent clinical experience
      - Valid CPR certification
      - 0-1 year previous clinical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
      - Ability to demonstrate competency in obtaining accurate patient vital statistics and health history

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Certification as a Medical Assistant through a recognized certifying agency
      - Previous experience in a clinical setting providing support in a community-based clinic
      - Knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency in electronic medical records
      - Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively
      - Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and across various levels of the organization
