What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist Billing Center Managers and internal audit in pulling files and obtaining documents for audits as needed
- Complete all assigned special projects within the requested time-frame, such as sort code set-up and company conversions
- Perform tests of any Billing Center recommended "pilot" projects and report findings
- Review all acquisition documents for validity prior to converting patient charges into the medical billing system
- Perform other duties as assigned

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience in DME coverage/billing guidelines and Medicare DMEPOS coverage and payment rules
- One to three years of related work experience in a team-oriented environment
- Strong customer service background
- Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the medical field and administrative record management
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME)
- Familiarity with federal payer program regulations and guidelines
- Knowledge of medical billing practices and billing reimbursement procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing
