What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct online and phone follow-ups on pending appeal responses
- Process all payor responses to submitted appeals
- Handle inbound and outbound calls for payors and patients/guarantors
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to appeals
- Utilize various software programs to manage billing tasks

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be fluent in English
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a healthcare/revenue cycle billing environment
- Above-average knowledge of Medicaid and Workers' Compensation payor billing guidelines
- Minimum of one (1) year in a call center environment
- High School diploma or equivalent

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience as an appeal writer
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Office 365
- Strong analytical skills to define and identify problems
- Ability to manage and maintain confidential information
