What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Resolve claim denials and manage aged accounts according to federal, state, and payor guidelines
- Identify trends in underpayments and denials, and escalate issues as necessary
- Communicate effectively with payors and patients to gather information and resolve claims
- Process requests for appeals, overpayments, and medical record information
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding their accounts and payment plans

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical reimbursement field
- Ability to read and understand Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with skills in PDF editing
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, along with some college-level courses
- Ability to type 45 wpm and perform 10-key by touch

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with billing 1500 and UB04 claim forms
- Knowledge of medical terminology and office equipment operation
- Confident communication skills for interactions with insurance representatives and patients
