What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer inbound calls and assist customers with pharmacy-related services
- Conduct benefit investigations and verify coverage eligibility with insurance companies
- Complete prior authorizations accurately and efficiently for review by clinical pharmacists
- Assist patients with enrollment in copay assistance programs from manufacturers and non-profit organizations
- Maintain quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines while recommending improved procedures

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or similar patient services
- Strong time management and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize projects effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on effective presentation and interpersonal relationships
- Fully competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with a strong emphasis on documentation accuracy

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience using a CRM and integrated telephony platform
- Bilingual (Spanish) highly desirable
- Previous data entry experience with a typing speed of 30wpm or greater
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing work environment
