What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer inbound calls and assist customers with pharmacy-related services
- Conduct benefit investigations and verify coverage eligibility with insurance companies
- Complete prior authorizations with attention to detail and accuracy
- Assist patients with enrollment in manufacturer and non-profit organization copay assistance programs
- Maintain and improve quality results by adhering to standards and recommending improved procedures

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or similar patient services experience
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with excellent documentation accuracy

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience using a CRM and integrated telephony platform
- Previous data entry experience with a typing speed of 30 wpm or more
- Bilingual (Spanish) highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and build relationships with customers and third parties
- Demonstrated adaptability to a fast-paced and changing work environment
