      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Serve as a coding expert for assigned specialties, providing guidance and support
      - Provide training and education to new and existing coders in alignment with department standards
      - Monitor the quality of coding staff work through audits and identify education needs
      - Create and deliver presentations on targeted specialty areas and coding topics
      - Research and provide accurate guidance on coder questions and new coding guidelines

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - CPC or AHIMA coding certification required
      - 3-5 years of Inpatient or Surgical coding experience with expertise in procedural and diagnosis coding
      - Experience with EMR and Practice Management software
      - Proficient in reporting and analytics
      - Specialty certifications and teaching physician guidelines preferred

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Additional specialty certifications
      - Familiarity with teaching physician guidelines
      - Prior experience in coding education or training roles
