What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Code medical terminology in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and departmental procedures
- Provide general and project-specific coding training to Clinical Data Management (CDM) staff
- Support and guide the registry team on all coding aspects
- Produce and present registry-specific status reports regularly
- Collaborate with the Director of CDM on coding-specific processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant formal academic/vocational qualification
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in a Clinical Coder role
- Strong experience with WHODD and MedDRA dictionaries
- Proficient in using an Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system (e.g. Zelta, Medidata Rave, Veeva)
- Excellent understanding of clinical/medical terminology and strong attention to detail
