      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review hospital service data to assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for billing
      - Travel to hospitals to pick up physician encounter data
      - Analyze patient demographic and financial information to ensure accurate reimbursement
      - Provide positive and effective customer service that supports departmental operations
      - Maintain compliance with the organization’s confidentiality policy in accordance with HIPAA

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or GED required
      - Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare billing/coding
      - Professional Billing Coding certification (CPC, CCS-P) required
      - Knowledge of medical coding and billing national standards
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Ability to analyze information and work under pressure while meeting deadlines
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
      - Experience performing coding audits
      - Strong ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion
