      The Position

      Key Responsibilities:

      Strategy Development, Support and Implementation

      • Generate and integrate insights, in collaboration with Therapy Area enablers, Patient Journey Partners, Health Systems Partner and other relevant functions, from the healthcare ecosystem to create and implement prelaunch medical strategies and co-create therapy area outcomes-based plans to enable better outcomes for patients and to transform healthcare.

      Excellence in Execution

      • Implement medical plans in collaboration with PJPs, HSPs and other relevant functions which may include but are not limited to insights generation activities, scientific communication and education, stakeholder engagement, evidence generation, early access programs, support to clinical trials, etc.

      Partnership with External and Internal Stakeholders

      • Collaborate with internal and external HCE stakeholders to understand areas of need and co-create solutions.

      TA expertise, Scientific and Business Acumen for Current and Future Healthcare Solutions

      • Act as the scientific expert of the therapy area. Leverage on TA expertise, scientific and business acumen to integrate solutions in the healthcare ecosystem for today and future.
      • Manage in-depth scientific communication with HCP/Key stakeholders to support Patient Journey Partner and Health System Partner
      • Provide medical/scientific support and training to ensure the high quality scientific knowledge of therapeutic areas

      Medical Governance

      • Ensure that we always put patients first and operate on high standards of compliance, ethics and patient safety while enabling the affiliate to address patients’ needs fast.
      • Ensure promotional/medical/scientific communications address stakeholder needs and optimize patient benefit and safety while keeping a fair balance and compliance with regulations and SOPs.
      • Demonstrate the Roche values of Integrity, Courage and Passion while carrying out job responsibilities and accountabilities and comply with the Roche Code of Conduct and all Healthcare Compliance policies and regulations in all interactions and situations.

      Network at an Enterprise Level

      • Connect and leverage Roche resources from across the globe to increase efficiency and maximize our full potential to transform healthcare and improve patient outcomes.

      Who You Are

      • Doctor of Medicine (licensed medical doctor from a reputable university)
      • At least 2 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, medical affairs or equivalent experience in a health-care related industry
      • Has exceptional career highlights (ie launch excellence, above country medical experience, outstanding projects in healthcare ecosystem). Preferred: Experience in launching a product and in relevant TAs
      • Has education, training or experience in drug development and approval, research, clinical trials, real world data generation and evidence-based medicine
      • Has good grasp of Good clinical practice and Good Pharmacovigilance Practice
      • Has good understanding of regulations governing the pharmaceutical industry
      • Good presentation, communication and writing skills (English)
