      Medical Information Content Manager

      The Medical Information Content Manager is accountable for creating high quality MI content that addresses the needs of customers globally and ensures successful execution of Global MI content strategy and initiatives. Strong scientific background and medical writing skills are required to ensure high quality MI content that meet the scientific information needs of customers globally for the TA. This role collaborates with various stakeholders within and outside Global MI as well as for the US local operating country for creation of MI responses and derivative content. This role requires engaging / collaborating with people across different geographies globally and from diverse cultural and racial backgrounds. An understanding of the business impact and value of diversity and inclusion is required and this role operates at a global level accountable for creating MI content used globally and specifically for the US market to help inform clinical decision making by health care providers.

      In this role you will

      • Be responsible for authoring Global and US MI content (including response letters and other types of content as needed) by identifying and summarizing complex scientific literature in a simple, accurate and concise manner to help inform clinical decision-making by HCPs .
      • Take responsibility for planning and maintaining a robust MI content suite including launch readiness plans that meets the scientific needs of customers worldwide through partnership with key stakeholders to align with data dissemination plans and incorporate medical insights.
      • Represent MI at meetings with key matrix partners
      • Analyze and apply scientific and customer insights to create relevant content
      • Maintain in-depth product and therapeutic area knowledge.
      • Demonstrate expertise in biomedical literature evaluation and medical writing
      • Ensure recurring queries are tracked and identify need for creation of new responses.
      • Be responsible for reviewing derivative content (e.g. slides, infographics, etc.) to ensure it is consistent and aligned with the related MI responses and complaint with relevant review and approval processes
      • Demonstrate a high customer focus while managing MI content related escalations from MI Call Centre and/or LOC MI staff.
      • Create and/or update reference materials and data on file summaries.
      • Robust understanding of the MI systems, processes and technology enablement to ensure deliverables in a timely manner and contribute to improvement in ways of working and processes.
      • Represent the department at non-promotional medical events, such as medical congresses and symposia.

      Basic Qualifications & Skills:

      We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

      • Advanced degree (eg BSc, MSc, PhD, BPharm, MBBS) in Life sciences or a related discipline
      • Demonstrable experience working in Medical Information in a professional environment
      • Highly proficient at medical and pharmacoeconomic literature searching with a full understanding of levels of evidence
      • A good understanding of evidence requirements in various key geographies so that the content is relevant and applicable
      • Seamless ability to engage/collaborate with stakeholders across different geographies globally

      Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

      Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:

      • Experience in medical writing in a professional pharmaceutical/CRO environment
      • Experience working in either medical information or global medical roles
