What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor delinquent accounts and perform collection duties
- Review reports and resolve billing issues in collaboration with co-workers
- Ensure accuracy in payment postings and account balances
- Contact patients to secure past due balances and update their information
- Answer patient inquiries regarding payments, billing, and insurance

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of two (2) years of combined medical billing and payment experience required
- Knowledge of state, federal, and third-party claims processing required
- Understanding of state and federal collections guidelines
- Must successfully complete required e-learning courses within 90 days of occupying the position

- Experience in an oncology or healthcare-related billing environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle complex inquiries
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
