What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform an in-depth review of medical claims utilizing the UB-04 and detailed itemized statements to ensure the validity of line-item charges
- Verify accuracy of itemized charges to be reimbursed according to client policy and industry standards
- Validate automatic system denials and create additions to enhance efficient processing of itemized bill review claims
- Recommend system enhancements and edits to improve claim review efficiency
- Consult with Senior Analysts regarding any questions or issues related to claim reviews

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business, nursing, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in itemized bill review
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare billing and coding
- Experience in the healthcare payment integrity industry required
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
