What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform phlebotomy on patients in a clinical setting
- Manage the processing and result reporting of outreach laboratory specimens
- Adhere to departmental identification policies
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient specimens
- Demonstrate knowledge of phlebotomy protocols, compliance, and safety

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school education or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical and/or phlebotomy experience in a healthcare environment
- Valid Driver's License
- Knowledge of medical terminology and phlebotomy protocols
- Proficient in collecting blood by venipuncture and capillary techniques

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's degree in Healthcare or Biological Sciences
- Experience in phlebotomy in an outreach laboratory setting
- Phlebotomy certification (PBT ASCP)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to type 50 wpm
