What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to incoming and interoffice calls, directing callers to the appropriate parties
- Schedule and manage patient appointments according to established guidelines
- Register patients over the phone and update demographic information in the system
- Assist in training staff and monitor work performance for quality assurance
- Suggest and implement efficient procedures within the call center

What is Required (Qualifications):
- A combination of two years (24 months) of relevant experience or education in medical or business fields
- Coursework in medical or para-medical fields such as nursing assistant, medical assistant, or medical secretary
- Work experience comparable to the Medical Office Associate level or similar responsibilities
- Ability to learn and operate web-based systems
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and staff

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare setting or call center environment
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records systems
- Previous training experience in a call center or medical office setting
- Knowledge of appointment scheduling protocols and patient registration processes
