Job summary
We are recruiting part time Medical Receptionist at St Peters Surgery. Being frontline/patient facing staff in Primary Care is no easy job, so we are looking for individuals with a positive mindset, eagerness to learn new systems and excellent communication skills. St Peters Surgery will provide training and ongoing support in the role, so please do not be put off if you have no prior reception or administration experience.
The hours we require are:
Monday: Non-Working Day
Tuesday: Non-Working Day
Wednesday: Non-Working Day
Thursday: 08.00am - 13.00pm
Friday: 1.30pm-6.30pm
Main duties of the job
You will be required to work in a team of 7 medical receptionists on a rotational basis to cover core opening hours. We are looking for a team player to cover a range of reception duties including, booking patient appointments, call handling, patient triaging and many other administrative duties. Experience of general practice is desirable but not essential.

Our clinical team includes a salaried GP, Nurses, Healthcare assistants, Pharmacists, First Contact Physiotherapist and many other associated staff. A strong and experienced reception, administration and medical secretary team keep the surgery running smoothly with the assistance of a Practice Business Manager and Practice Operations Manager.
